Sight Words Adventure in Candyland focuses on the Dolch Word List, which is widely recognized as the most commonly taught list of sight words. It is divided into 5 categories and includes an extra category for nouns.

In Sight Words Adventure in Candyland, children accompany Abby the Monkey on an enchanting journey through Candyland. This magical fairy-tale land is inhabited by cute little pink unicorns, trees bursting with delicious candy fruit, and rivers of chocolate. The friendly unicorns need the help of the learners to grow magical plants that exist on floating clouds and sustain their land. By playing educational games, children can earn gardening supplies and cultivate these beautiful magical plants.

The 18 games include:

1. Candy Fruit: Complete a word recognition challenge by tapping on the words to ripen the candy fruit. Feed the hungry little monster once all the fruit is ripe.
2. Ice Cream Words: Build an ice cream cone by serving scoops marked with sight words requested by customers.
3. Spelling Challenge: Use the candy typewriter to learn to spell sight words. Celebrate your accomplishments by releasing fireworks once all words are typed.
4. Bubble House: Free sight words trapped in bubbles by tapping on the bubbles containing the called words.
